Hey Trekkers,
Yes, I disappeared again. And yes, it was from another physical injury… a herniated disc injury. For those of you who’ve been following my journey, you know that I’m no stranger to the ups and downs that life throws at us. But this one? It really knocked me off my feet—literally and figuratively.
For 8 months it was a mix of frustration, pain, and a lot of questioning. It felt like every step forward came with two steps back. My body, which I’ve always pushed to its limits, suddenly felt like it was betraying me. There were days when even the simplest movements felt impossible. But as I lay there, forced to slow down, something unexpected happened: I reconnected with the very essence of why I started this trek in the first place.
Since I got back on trek in April 2024, I’ve been getting stronger and better every day. This motivated me to come back to this website, and dust off a few cobwebs. Re-reading my first blog post, I felt a wave of inspiration wash over me. That spark, the one that fueled my passion to share my journey with all of you, was reignited. I remembered why I started this blog—to connect with others who are on their own trek, striving to live their fullest, happiest lives despite the challenges life throws their way.
So here I am, back at it, with a renewed sense of purpose and excitement. The trek continues, and I’m learning that it’s not always a straight path upward. Sometimes, it’s winding, with detours and roadblocks that force us to slow down, reassess, and maybe even change direction. But that’s okay. Because every twist and turn is a part of this wild, beautiful journey we’re all on.
I’m excited to share the progress I’ve made since my injury and the steps I’m taking to rebuild my physical strength, my mental resilience, and my tender soul. I am more determined than ever to see this trek through, to chase those dreams and enjoy each step of the way.
And the first step I want to share it my routine: insert youtube video
I’m back, and I’m ready to keep trekking. Let’s keep pushing forward together!
